Initially, the Company grew organically mainly through word of mouth. As the company continued to deliver exceptional pieces of work with great service the reputation grew stronger and stronger and the company became a trusted partner across the country.
In those early days our Clients were mostly homeowners, housing bodies, schools and government departments.
Our Core Values
It was during those early years of the Company that the foundations of our core values were laid down. At the time these values were not really recognised as such but today those core values shape our entire business and underpin every part of the Company's operations.
The essence of the Company's culture in the early days and now, is to 'provide a superior finished project, on time, without headaches, at a value for money price.' We pride ourselves in being extremely user friendly.
As a Company we knew that if we kept delivering for our Clients and continuing to add value our business would grow.
Residential and Commercial
As our Client base continued to expand so did the size of our projects along with our team of professionals at Martin Construction. We established a development arm across the UK working both in the Residential and Commercial sectors.
The business has grown to amass a wealth of experience in carrying out a wide variety of projects. We have worked across a wide spectrum of sectors including residential, supermarkets, listed buildings and medical facilities.
This great wealth of experience has served to mature us as a Company and afforded us the opportunity to put our skills to the test on the most challenging of projects ensuring complete client satisfaction.
Pride in our Achievements
One of our proudest moments in the Company's history was receiving a commendation in the House of Commons for completing a government building fit-out in a rapid 11 weeks. A similar project had taken another contractor some 18 months to complete. This was a particularly proud moment for all our Staff and Senior Management and another example of the dynamic nature of our Company.
Today and into the Future
Today the Company's operations have grown so that our UK Head Office is in London, thereby positioning us to actively work and pursue opportunities in the Capital.
The Company is now headed up in the UK by Gary Martin who is the Managing Director. Gary Martin leads the company with a special entrepreneurial flair for the industry. He has a unique talent for the business of construction and an expansive passion for people. He is supported by our Commercial Director Stephen Porter, whose wealth of experience within the industry enables our business to operate efficiently and confidently in today’s challenging markets.
